7th Grade Language Arts

November 11, 2022

I am not sure what we will do about this class. I had five out of twelve students on Friday. I know some students are way behind, some are just a little, “do I really know this grammar stuff?” and others are ready to close this chapter and move on. With that said, there is not reason for anyone to be behind reading Isle of Swords. It is really getting to the good stuff!

Grammar:

Review chapter 3. Open book test on Tuesday.

Literature:

Read chapters 28-31.

Write your theories. Who you you think Cat really is? How did he get abandoned on the island where he was found? Who do you think is his mother? Why do you believe what you do? What did you see in the book to lead you to these conclusions? A good detective has proof. Prove your theories by using clues from the book. Include page numbers and quotes.

Have a great weekend!
