write rough draft on Beowulf. We discussed two possible essay topics:

Beowulf has characteristics of a typical epic poem.

OR

Beowulf is an epic poem because it is a narrative poem about a hero.

Remember in the introduction, you should have author, title, short summary, and thesis statement.

Thursday:

edit/revise rough draft

Final copy of essay is due Tuesday, October 1, 2024 with parent signature.
