-Read chapters 7-8 in The Witch of Blackbird Pond and answer the questions.

-Read the Jonathan Edwards excerpt from the "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" text in the stapled Puritan packet that you already have and use the SOAPSTone strategy to analyze the text. On a separate sheet of paper, create a summary paragraph to turn in next Wednesday.

-Study the 'Literary Devices' words/definitions study sheet that was given out in class on Thursday. The quiz will be on Wednesday.
