Grades 3/4 and 5/6 ELA: Weekend Work

All Grades:

Because we were unable to take our spelling and vocabulary tests today (Thursday, 8/31) and I could not send out next week's new word lists, we will keep the same words for next week. Students will be tested over the current set of words next Thursday instead of trying to squeeze in two sets of tests--so keep studying those same words and definitions. They will get new word lists NEXT Thursday (9/7).

Grades 3/4:

-Complete Day 8 in Daily Grams.

-Students should have already read through chapter 4 in The Courage of Sarah Noble and answered the corresponding comprehension questions in complete sentences. For the weekend assignment, they should read chapter 5. They won't have questions for this chapter until next week.

Grades 5/6:

-Complete Day 8 in Daily Grams.

-Students should have already read through chapter 5 in By the Great Horn Spoon and answered the corresponding comprehension questions in complete sentences. For the weekend assignment, they should read chapter 6. They won't have questions for this chapter until next week.
