Grades 3/4 and 5/6 ELA: Work for 8/29 and 8/30

All Grades:

-Study for Thursday's spelling and vocabulary tests.

-I am also giving students the opportunity to improve their scores from last week's spelling test. I realize it's a new year and a new way of doing things--so there's always an adjustment period. Therefore, if a student wants to add 10 points to their grade, they may write each missed word 10 times each. This is only for students who did not make 100 or greater. It is not my plan to do this for future tests, but this is my 'welcome to Mrs. Amy O'Quinn's ELA class' gift for those who need it! :)

Grades 3/4:

-Complete Day 7 in your Daily Grams book.

-Do the comprehension questions for chapter 3 in The Courage of Sarah Noble, which they read last weekend. Then, they should read chapter 4 and answer those questions as well. I sent home the question worksheets for both chapters today. Please write in complete sentences.

Grades 5/6:

-Complete Day 7 in your Daily Grams book.
