Happy New Year, Euclideans!

January 3, 2022

We must persevere to have time to cover math concepts presented in later chapters. These forthcoming math concepts are found on entrance exams such as the Accuplacer and the SAT.

We are leaving Plane Geometry (2D) and onto Solid Geometry (3D). We will explore how to calculate volume and surface area.

Your assignment this week:

-watch the online videos for chapters 14 and 15,

-read both chapters (there is only 5 paragraphs total) and

-complete 14A, 14B and 14C (1-6), 15A, 15B and 15C (1-3).

I am texting you copies of the reading material.

Use your calculator. Also, try using the pi symbol on your calculator or just use 3.14 (iPhone: turn your phone sideways to access your scientific calculator.) Please txt, call, or smoke signal 🙂 if you have any question or just want me to talk you through it. Your hard work will pay off!! 💪🏼
