High School ELA and Brit Lit: 5-2-23

Grades 9/10:

-Your research papers are due next Tuesday, May 9th!

-All extra credit assignments are also due on Tuesday, May 9th.

-Study for Thursday's vocabulary test. This will be your last vocab test for the year.

-Read chapters 8-9 in The Hiding Place and answer the questions. I will start compiling a study guide for the 'end of the novel' test and try to give those out by this Thursday. Your (multiple choice) test over The Hiding Place will be on Wednesday, May 10th. Your last day of my class will be on May 11th.

Brit Lit:

-Your final book test over Ivanhoe will be next Tuesday. I will send home study guide info tomorrow.

-All extra credit assignments are also due on Tuesday, May 9th.

-We began reading the short story "Rebecca and Rowena" by William Makepeace Thackery in your workbooks today. We will continue reading that story tomorrow and Thursday. If you were not in class today, please read pgs. 161 through the end of section 1 (the last word in that section is bargain) on pg. 167.

-Your last day in my class will be May 11th.
