Kindergarten Language Arts August 23-26
We have been working on learning the sounds of the short vowels. Four of the five vowels have been introduced (all but o). Short a was introduce on Thursday. I sent home a copy of a poem, "The Apple Tree" which I read to them and let them stand up and add motions as I read it. Please read it to your child on Friday and Monday to let him/her get more familiar with the poem. Also, read a story of your choice to your child on Friday and Monday.
