Kindergarten Sept. 6-9

Your child brought home several pages for the weekend. They should be in the red plastic folder. The handwriting sheet(s) need to be completed. (Some students finished in class.) The coloring sheets are for fun and because we talked about the word cat. I told them that a tiger is a kind of wild cat. Also, you will see a sheet of words that are in the at word family. We talked about these words on Thursday. Read the words over with your child, pointing to each word as you say it. Do not worry if he(she) is not able to read each word. We are just starting to work on the idea of how letters work together. All papers need to be returned on Tuesday. In addition, read a story of your choice to your child on Friday and Monday.
