Finish memorizing the list of helping verbs on page 40 in the grammar workbook. There will be a test over them Tuesday. You will need to be able to list all 23 of the words. They will probably be easier to learn if you group them in six groups as they are grouped on the page. Look back at pages 37-39 and correct any that you missed. Look back over pages 43-44 which you should have already completed. If the pages are not completed, please finish them. If you made mistakes, please try to correct the mistakes. Look back at the list of helping verbs as you work to correct mistakes. Some of you listed helping verbs as main verbs. Some sentences have two helping verbs and one sentence has three. Also, if a word is a preposition, it cannot be a helping verb. Only verbs can be main verbs or helping verbs. Complete pages 49-53. Be sure to look back to pages 47- 48 if you need help. Have your project ready to share with the class on Tuesday. You will receive two grade on this project - one for what you turn in and one for how you present it to the class. Complete the sections in the cursive workbook for Thursday, Friday, and Monday. Please let me know if you have any questions.
