• Study W26 Vocabulary *Test on Tuesday 3/10

  • Adjective - a word that describes a noun

  • Articles - special adjectives such as; a, an, and the

  • Demonstrative Adjective - answer the question which one ? Examples are; this, that, theses and those.

  • Adverb - a word that describes a verb

  • Noun - a person, place, or thing

  • Verb - tells what the subject does or is

  • Pronoun - takes the place of a noun and any words that go with the noun.

  • Possessive Pronoun - show that someone has or owns something

  • Homophone - words that sound alike but have different meanings

  • Relative Pronoun - can be used to combine sentences. Examples ; who, which and that.

*4th Grade has started vocabulary as a review for the chapters we have completed, also to get them ready for 5th grade. I have created a Kahoot account with the vocabulary to help them study we will do these in class if we have time but they are more than welcome to use at home. My username is hallieaweeks. Their vocabulary is located in the 4th Grade folder labeled by the week.
