Tuesday - Ch10 L120 & L121 pg.247-252

Wednesday - Ch10 L122 & L123 pg.253-256

Thursday - Ch10 L124 pg.257-258


Friday/Monday Work :

  • Finish pg. 258

  • Begin rough draft of your story, Use pg.259-260 to help. Be sure to skip lines in your rough draft and be ready to revise on Tuesday.

  • Study this weeks vocab 3/17-3/19 * Test on Tuesday 3/24

    • Simple Subject - the main noun or pronoun in the complete subject

    • Declarative Sentence - a statement that gives information

    • Imperative Sentence - gives a command or request

    • Exclamatory Sentence - shows excitement or surprise 

    • Interrogative Sentence - asks a question 

    •  Sentence - a group of words that express a complete thought 

    •  Fragment - a group of words that does not express a complete thought 

    •  Compound Subject -has two or more simple subjects that share the same predicate.

    •  Simple Sentence - gives one complete thought

    • Compound Sentence - contains two simple sentences or gives two complete thoughts.

*Also there is not a test for Chapter 10 because it is a writing chapter their final draft of their Tall Tale will be taken as the test grade. I will also be grading the workbook pages where they planned their story.
