5th Grade Language Arts

This week we have covered Chapter 1 Lessons 5,6, and 7.

Friday/Monday Work : Finish Chapter 1 Lesson 6 Independent Practice Page 12, Chapter 7 Independent Practice Page 14 and Study Week 2 Vocabulary Words.

Week 2 Vocabulary Words :

1. Flint: A hard stone that produces sparks when struck against steel, used for starting fires.

2. Proprietor: An owner of a business or property.

3. Passel: A large amount or quantity.

4. Daubed: To cover or smear with a soft adhesive substance.

5. Deprived: Taken away from, or kept from having or enjoying.

Our Vocabulary Test will be on Wednesday 8/27.
