Tuesday: Study: Test over Ch. 1 tomorrow. Study your 6th Gr. Ch. 1 Anchor charts and review pages in WB p. 19-20

Wednesday: Study for novel and definition test Ch. 1 tomorrow.

Weekend Work:

Grammar: Study for retest on Wed. ( All but 2 students) I separated the directions so it would be less confusing. But many need to really study the anchor charts for ch. 1 I sent home. They need to also memorize the 33 most common prepositions in the next 2 weeks.

Writing: On 3 pieces of paper, highlight every other line. Read over your cluster web and Freytag Pyramid. Then “freewrite” about your topic without stopping until you’ve covered it all. Skip every highlighted line for revisions.

Reading: Read Ch. 2 From the Mixed Up Files… Complete the definitions crossword (given in class) using your “new” vocabulary list (Start with “Ch. 2 … thoroughness”.
