I have worktext pages for Reading so I can meet with you all to give them to you. We also have phonics and English Lessons but we will do those when we are back in class. Continue to read 20 minutes each day and if you have run out of spaces, feel free to use the back!
Spelling Test on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Wednesday, September 30:
Bible Verse: “Honor your father and your mother.” - Exodus 20:12
We have written/glued this into our Bible and Gratitude Journal, asking them what the bible verse means to them. Say “We honor our parents by listening, speaking respectfully, telling the truth, and helping. Honor never means hiding unsafe behavior or obeying an order to do wrong. If something feels unsafe, tell a trusted adult.
Ask: “What is one ordinary way to honor your parents today? Who are safe adults you can talk to if you need help?”
Practice a respectful response: make eye contact and say, “Okay, I heard you, I will____________."
Pray: “God, help us show respect and choose what is right. Amen.”
