I’ve sent summaries and excerpts to you for your weekend work!
The two excepts are from Part 6. Max is in very poor health and Liesel starts bringing him presents. Many would see them as junk.
Have you ever given or received a gift that held incredible value to you but may have seemed like junk to someone else? Write about it. If you haven’t, write about a time you did something out of desperation that wouldn’t make sense to others.
-Read the summaries and key points and be ready to write something on them in class on Tuesday.
-Write vocabulary words and definitions for parts 6&7.
-also, reflect on the last key point for Part 6. We already discussed how this book does not carry the same hope that The Hiding Place did.
Journal Prompt for Tuesday: (giving you it ahead of time so you can think and prepare for it this weekend) Has there ever been a time you felt God was silent in your life? What happened after the situation to remind you he’s always with us?
