- Phonics- Read to your child for 15 -20 minutes both Friday and Monday. Complete Get Ready for the Code pages 28 -31. Have her find things around her that start with n. Review sight words that are in a bag in her folder- a (pronounced uh or with the long a sound), I, the, on. Complete Letters and Numbers for Me pages 43 and 46.

Optional: We have been working on blending cvc words using the short a and some consonants we have learned. Help your child make the following words or make them for her from magnetic letters and have her practice blending the three sounds together: rat, mat, Sam, ram, tap, and map.
