Reading Journal: Welcome to Another World
Imagine you are a reporter who has somehow traveled alongside Digory and Polly during Chapters 1–5 of The Magician’s Nephew.
Write a journal entry or news report describing the strange events you witnessed.
Your response must include at least FOUR specific events or details from Chapters 1–5. You may include things such as:
Digory and Polly’s exploration through the connected houses
Uncle Andrew and his mysterious rings
The Wood Between the Worlds
The pools that lead to different worlds
The ruined city of Charn
The statues or the bell
The awakening of Queen Jadis
Do not simply list events. Describe what you saw and experienced as though you were actually there.
