1/20-22/2026 — 2nd Period Novels Class

Students will read The Outsiders.

This activity should be completed by Tuesday, 1/27/2026.

Beginning Tuesday, we will discuss the novel with special attention given to reading guidelines given in class and reading guides.

Reading Guidelines

Gang = family

List characters and descriptions (looks, family life, attitude, personality)

Gang rivalry

Good/bad qualities of the gang members, especially the Greasers
