We have finally finished Chapter 1 and tested on it today! Now, we get to the good stuff-our body sytems. Up next is Chapter 2 with the Skeletal system. Please have your student prepare the "bone mini book". You can find it in the back of the journal. Once you have cut it out and folded it, glue it to p. 36 in the journal. I'll attach photos to show how its done. Its a little tricky.

Also, we will be building a mini "personal person" on page 13 to layer body systems throughout the year. This is located in the back as well. There are different skin shades to choose from.

Only cut one out (look for the label Lesson 1). Next up, find the clear pages with body systems. Cut out the skeleton and glue it on top. You will see the skin through the skeleton. I'll add photos of that, too.
