2/26 weekend homework We have been taking a virtual field trip around Georgia and seeing all of the neat landforms and geographical features our state has. Here are some videos about these geographical features we have. There are 11 videos, but none are more than 4 minutes. Mark and lable the location on your Georgia map and on the back of your paper, note some interesting facts about each one. **If you can't get the document to print, just write some facts from each video on a sheet of paper. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMniSm5GhmXaHma9FA34h3TZ38-bEORnW&si=M-DOm2TPdgewM_Lo There will be a quiz Tuesday. Not a question quiz, but "tell me what you know" quiz. Make sure you have some facts about these places and features from the videos: Barrier Islands Providence Canyon Appalachian Mountains Okefenokee Swamp Chattahoochee River

Savannah River

Fall Line

Next week, we start our big "around the world" landforms virtual field trip. We will be going to places in Jordan, Africa, Hawaii, and more. I'm not Miss Frizzle and we don't have a Magic School bus, but we are going to have a fun time traveling around!

Here is a longer video about the Okefenokee Swamp if you are interested in it. My 3rd-6th grader classes watched this one this week. https://youtu.be/sZz0Cxo_IlU?si=iUuVEQJIpKtZGHS3 I hope ya'll have a great weekend!
