10/23 weekend assignments
-Complete the mini book about maps and globes, if that hasn't been done yet. We have been working on that in class.
-Activity 4.1 "Creating a Map" in the textbook on page 53. I would like you to one room in your home, but NO MORE than two rooms. Follow the directions in the textbook and please make sure to pay attention to the direction of your house. Students have a paper that is ok to use or you may use a plain piece of copy paper. I have encouraged starting with a pencil and then coloring at the very end.
Make sure to include a map key and compass rose.
