American Literature: Weekend Work

You already read "If" by Rudyard Kipling and "If, for Girls" by J.P. McEvoy in your Words Aptly Spoken textbook and answered the questions for both poems. For your weekend assignment, I want you to write a short response paper (at least 250 words) comparing and contrasting the two poems. Explain how they are alike and how they are different--and tell if you agree or disagree with both writers' thoughts. Explain why or why not. You may either handwrite or type this assignment.
