Grades 3/4 & 5/6 ELA: August 16, 2023

All Grades:

New spelling/vocabulary word lists will go home tomorrow. Remember, the students will have two separate tests next Thursday--one for spelling and one for vocabulary over these words. The words will come from the novels we are currently reading.

Grades 3/4:

Please complete sections E and F on the ABC order worksheet I sent home today. This will include the 'A' words and 'B' words. We will do the bottom section of the worksheet together in class tomorrow.

Grades 5/6:

Please finish reading chapter 1 in By the Great Horn Spoon and answer the corresponding comprehension questions on the worksheet I sent home today. Students should write their answers in complete sentences, paying close attention to capitalization and punctuation.
