Grades 3/4 and 5/6 ELA: 4-17-24

All Grades:

-Study for tomorrow’s spelling and vocabulary tests.

-Next week’s word lists will be sent home tomorrow. Since students will be on their aquarium field trip next Thursday, their spelling and vocabulary tests will be on Wednesday.

Grades 5/6:

I have decided NOT to read the Harry Houdini book. I had not read ahead before assigning chapters 1-2, and I apologize. As a Christian, I am not comfortable with the content, so we’re not going any further. Instead, we will begin reviewing for the upcoming ITBS and doing some writing—along with some in-class reading activities.
