10/13 We started on Chapter 4 today and will learn all the things about soil, rocks, and fossils! In class today, we talked thru lesson 17. They have a handout called "Looking Ahead" that we worked on In class. Please have them finish the back using page 56 in the textbook for answers. They also have a packet, "What Is Soil?" to be a detective on and answer the 5 multiple choice questions. This will be for a grade.

10/13 We are finally back in our textbook and starting chapter 4. This will be a fun chapter as we learn about heredity and genetics! For classwork and homework, We worked thru section 4.1 (pg. 68-71) answer questions #1-4 on pg. 74 define vocabulary words on the green paper (character-heredity) Also, don't forget the field trip on Friday.
