HOMEWORK

9.18.26 Students were went home with a bag of beans and asked to separate them without using their hands. we are studying mixtures and how to separate them. We are currently working on pgs 30-51. They should have written and defined words on page 39 and answered the questions on page 43. There is alot of information relating to cooking: heating, melting, evaporating, condensation, freezing, etc so involve your student and discuss these processes.

9.18.26 Since there are only two students, we have one behind and/or one ahead. I have asked ahead not to do homework and the one behind to work on the pages between where she left off and where we marked the page (can't remember if it is 49 or 54)

Page 56: 1-15 odd and 16-32 all was started in class and should be completed at home. this whole section is about division (multiplication properties, adding zeros, estimating, and using decimals with our division - showing work is important). Page 58: 1-31 odd Page 60: 1-25 odd Page 62: 1-13 all, 15, 17, 19 Next week we will complete the chapter review and take a test Wednesday.
