Students should make a character list and include information/descriptions of the animals. Some animal may be grouped together — dogs, geese, etc). Also, using the notes from the pre-reading activity, students should compare the animals in Animal Farm to historical figures/people discussed in class. This can be added to the character list. All of this should be completed by Tuesday.

Students should take notes on each chapter of 1984. This could be done by highlighting in the book and/or writing notes on the side of the page. It could also be done by writing bullet points of each chapter. Things to note: Interesting events People Descriptions
