Create an outline of the essay you wrote Wednesday. I. Thesis Statement II. Topic Sentence #1 III. Topic Sentence #2 IV. (write the word Conclusion) Next week, we will use your outline and the essay you've written to create a new and improved essay.

8/13 weekend assignments Homework for this first weekend: - finish the first 2 columns on the "Looking ahead" paper, If that Is not done yet (the 3rd column is for after our chapter 1 test) - Read lesson 1 and complete the worksheet "The solar system and worldview" I have decided for this class to supply their definitions for a while instead of just giving the words for them to complete until everyone gets Into the swing of things. August 13- We’ve had a great first week of class! Weekend work: finish workbook pages 5-10. Reminder: I don’t grade homework but I do go through and make corrections. That way, you can look at your child’s homework and see if/where he or she might have struggled.
