Today we discussed the research paper. Students chose a topic to research Homework: Students will create a working thesis statement from the topic chosen. They will also have three or four bullet points that will be discussed in the paper. Tomorrow: We will be discussing the homework.

Today we began discussing pre-reading assignments, introducing To Kill A Mockingbird . Tomorrow we will discuss pre-reading assignment and continue reading. A schedule has been given to each student.

Students will work on essay and will edit during class. Final copy of essay is due Thursday, 3/26/2026. If students are absent, essays should be emailed to me by 12:00 noon, Thursday, 3/26/2026,
