Tomorrow we will have a test covering Unit 1.

Today we worked in groups. No Homework. Tomorrow we will have a class discussion on Letters 1 - 8 of The Screwtape Letters. Homework over the weekend: Read the next group of letters as directed on the Student Study Guide. Monday we will have a quiz over those letters.

8/27 weekend assignment Chapter 1 test will be Wednesday 9/2. Thursday and weekend work is: Reread the ethics:Eating Animals on p.26 and think through or talk about questions 25-28 with an adult in your house. complete the chapter 1 review questions on pg. 24 - 25 We will review Tuesday and take the test Wednesday.

Read The Prologue, take notes. Choose one pilgrim and make a prediction.

-Finish Literary devices activity--finding them in Acts 1 & 2. -Write down ONE line from Acts 1-2 that you feel is essential to understanding the play. Tell me: page number, who says it, why you feel it is essential. -Read Act 3 lines and be prepared to read aloud in class tomorrow.

-Grammar worktext: Complete page 19 -Reading: Finish questions for Chapter 1. (1-7 on handout)

August 25- we did a review game in class today and I sent home a study guide for what they need to know for a test on Thursday. They don’t have to do anything with the study guide-it’s just to help them know what to study.
