11/20 Thanksgiving Today in class, we watched a video about the Mariana Trench, which is the deepest part of the Earth's crust, deeper than Mount Everest Is tall, formed by 2 tectonic plates converging and causing a trench in the oceanic crust. 11/20 Thanksgiving break Today, we watched a video and discussed Volcanoes, and how they form and erupt from the plate boundaries bumping into each other (convergence). When we get back to school, we will continue to talk about Earth's crust and how those plates move and cause features on Earth (mountains, ridges, rifts, earthquakes, etc).
