Good afternoon. We are working hard on chapter 7 and will finish it next week. I made a deal with them and I will take the average of their two quizzes for a test grade instead of taking a test. They will do one quiz this weekend and we will do the second one next week. Thursday 12/11 Quiz 7 A Friday 12/12 Lesson 7.4 pgs 290/291 #’s 1-29, 31, 33 Monday Lesson 7.5 pgs 297/298 #’s 1-27 Have a great weekend!!

The Night essay is due Wednesday at the beginning of class. Students may bring the essay Tuesday for class revision and for me to review it; however, this is not mandatory, only suggested. Students may email me the final copy anytime before the beginning of 4th period on Wednesday. Essays that are emailed to me will be considered the final copy.

The essay is due Tuesday . Students who handwrote their essay and I made corrections/ revisions for them will need to rewrite the entire essay. This will be the final copy and no revisions will be allowed. I’d suggestion looking for the following: That there are no “you’s” or derivatives of you (your, yours, you’re, etc) in the essay UNLESS it is within a quote. That the organization is as follows within the body paragraphs: topic sentence, then begin with each commandment

December 11- complete workbook pages 149-152. We will have a test on Tuesday.

December 11- complete the study guide that was handed out in class. Newspaper assignment due Wednesday, December 17. We will review on Tuesday and have the chapter 6 test on Wednesday.

Also be sure it is nice and neat, where they can read it as well. This will be due on Tuesday 12/16. If they finished their Final Book Review they can work on Chapter 10 Review pages 189-190.
